Giving

We joyfully invite you to give to the mission and ministry of St. Mark's. As Christians, we give financially to our church out of gratitude. God has been generous to us in the life and work of Jesus Christ. Returning a portion of our financial resources is a sign of our gratitude to God. There are several ways to give to St. Mark's.  Click here to learn more ways to give to St. Mark's.

Music

Choir and Handbells Rehearsals
If you love to sing and enjoy having a great time with friends, the St. Mark’s Choir is for you!  We have Choir rehearsals on Sundays at 8:45 a.m. & Wednesdays at 10:00 a.m.  We also have a three-octave set of Malmark handbells.  We have handbell choir rehearsals on Sundays, at 8:00 a.m. This is a wonderful opportunity to being a new ministry that will truly enhance our worship experiences.  There is absolutely no experience required, and you don’t even need to know how to read music.  Please join us as we prepare for leading in worship each week, as well as for special musical offerings throughout the year.  For more information click here.  We look forward to sharing this wonderful opportunity with you!

Helping Others

St. Mark’s Giving Tree
St. Mark’s will be collecting gifts for the Rainbow Room who give abused and neglected children a ray of hope.  Beginning November 17, you will see our Giving Tree set up in the Narthex.  All of the children have been referred through the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services as children in need.  White Tags will be placed on the tree with the child’s name and three gifts they have requested.  You may buy one, two or all three gifts for that child. The tags with green trim are for boys and the tags with red trim are for girls. Be sure to put your name on the list next to the child’s name and indicate which one or all of the gifts you intend to purchase.  Unwrapped gifts with bows, or in a gift bag, labeled with the child’s name and agency ID number need to be in the Narthex by Sunday, December 16.  For those of you who are not able to shop, you can order the gift on-line. Please let Rhonda know via email to expect a package.  If you are having the gift shipped, a gift receipt with the child’s name on it will be very helpful in sorting the gifts. For more information, please contact Rhonda Yamauchi. Thank you for sharing your blessings with those in need this Christmas!
