Pentecost is Coming!
Sunday, May 19, is Pentecost Sunday, a commemoration of when the Holy Spirit descended upon the Apostles, empowering them to preach the Good News in the world. St. Mark’s will celebrate this miraculous event with a Fajita Feast! Bring a favorite dessert that your family loves to share, while the church provides the main course and sides.

4th of July Celebration
Hot dogs, cold watermelon, and patriotic Songs are all part of our Fourth of July celebration at church following our 10 a.m. service on June 30. We are planning a fun celebration for all ages, so be sure to invite your friends and neighbors. Our festive lunch will include the best hot dogs with great toppings and sides, followed by ice-cold watermelon! We will have a watermelon seed spitting contest for the youth and any youthful members, with prizes. Don't forget to bring your best homemade apple pie and homemade ice cream for our bake-off contest! Tom Thompson will lead us all in a sing-along of all our favorite patriotic melodies, both old and new.
